Damien,
Thanks for the quick update of Tripwire for Hyperion holes. One question, if we applied for Tripwire as a corp, is there a different key needed for our Alliance that we have now formed or does each corp apply independently? Can alliances share maps? |

I could change your corp authorization to an alliance wide one quick - would that help?
That'd be great. Thanks |

Daimian Mercer wrote:PATCH DAY!!Tripwire will be getting one of the largest patches ever in about 12 hours... 01:00 EVE time. Because of the absolutely massive back-end changes please note the following: 1.) Signatures & Notes will be lost 2.) Everyone will need to register again 3.) Alliances have been removed 4.) Personal statistics will be reset HOWEVER, you can start using the patch right now and get setup and transfer data via GalileoWHAT WILL HAPPEN at 01:00 during patching you ask? We are simply going to point the Tripwire URL to the Galileo server. This means that everyone will see the change at different times because it can take 10 minutes or an hour for DNS servers to point you to the new server. Tripwire data won't be lost, you simply won't be able to get to it anymore because it will remain on the old server. YOU SHOULD read up on the new Mask system and try and get setup early on Galileo. ** Patch notes & features will be added here in a few minutes **
Your Mask link is broken |

Got it. How, as corp CEO, do you create a mask and share it to an alliance? It looks like you can only share masks with individuals.
And also, to clarify, whatever mask you have "selected" is the visibility of your chain? |

Daimian Mercer wrote:Best option is to get your account setup as corp admin via the "Corp" registration and create a corp mask that includes the other corps in your alliance.
And yes - changing selected mask and saving will change your chain map.
Sorry for being dense but how? When I create a Corp mask from my interface and search, it only seems to return users, not corporations to add to the "Allowed" list. |

I think I got it now. It does not take partial names or tickers when searching. If I put in the exact corp name it seems to find it just fine. Thanks.
Only problem now is that it says that I am not a corporate admin :( |

I meant to ask you before. What does the "favorite" button do. I have a system marked as a favorite and if I check the icon for "show favorite system in map" but it never shows up along side my home system |

Agreed
I far prefer Tripwire to the other offerings and if a Patreon would guarantee its survival, I'm all in. |

Skyver wrote:I really like the idea of the Patreon. Sadly the License agreement fro CREST clearly states you are not allowed to change money for any application. Nor are you allowed to distinguish between donors and non-donors in how you deliver your content (eg. removal of Ads). There might be some grey areas that might be possible if they are outside of the App (e.g. have a 10$ per month level to be able to vote on new features). Since it has only to do with the development process and not the App itself it might not be covered by the CREST agreement)
Set up a Patreon and have like levels of 1$,2$,5$,10$,20$,50$ per month. Someone from an Alliance might say he wants to donate in the name of all of his members. And have a thank you page with the last month donors with their Eve-Name and Corp/Alliance so its visible who keeps the site running.
I really hope this will work out.
The rules, as I understand them (and had clarification from other sources) is that you can use Patreon but you cannot restrict access to only supporters. ie: Tripwire remains free. People can support him via Patreon. There cannot, however, be subscriber only features OR access restricted to only subscribers. |
